Lily sold!

The Lily watercolor drawing on my Etsy shop was just sold to a wonderful buyer! It is great to see my work find a good home.

lilyI am planning on creating some more art nouveau flower drawings since that seems to be a popular subject. Any thoughts on other work would be appreciated!

Some new paintings headed to Singapore

First, I completed a 15 by 20 inch painting of a Brassolaelia orchid. This is a collaboration with Singaporean photographer Simon Ho.

Second, this weekend I finished my tiger painting for Forest Rain Gallery in Singapore.  It is a 40 x 26 inch oil painting on canvas. The work follows the same Neo-Decadent aesthetic of my chimpanzee painting, Willie.

Singapore Continued – Gallery Openings and Flower Photos

I recently went to Melisa Teo’s show at Cathay Gallery in Singapore. I loved the idea of traveling around the world trying to understand different cultures’ ideas of the afterlife. Melisa was able to capture the delirium and surrealism of a certain religious mood.

The photographer at the opening snagged this candid shot.
